For this week’s Skywatch Friday post, I chose images from three of our memorable travels from this past year. It’s funny because I just posted to Weekly Photo Challenge Descent where I was searching for images looking downwards and even though I didn’t actively do it for Skywatch Challenge last week, I feel this post has more of a looking upwards feel to it!
Our time in California in April this year! The joys of watching Pelicans flying above my daughter splashing about in Corona Beach, Los Angeles, USA.
We went on a hike to a small nature reserve near LA, California. It was a very hot day as we had just arrived day before from 14 degrees in Sheffield to 30 degrees in LA…there was not a cloud in the sky!
My one day whirlwind travel through Rome last October, ending up at the Spanish Steps after walking all day non stop!
And last but not least, looking up the steep incline of the Great Wall of China, during my hike from Jinshanling to Simatai two weeks ago. Again I had another cloudless sunny day, wonderful remembering what a great experience it was!
Thanks to Skywatch Friday hosts Yogi,Sylvia and Sandy 🙂
Glad your visit here to S CA was a good one! I like the shot of the pelicans soaring above the beach.
Olá,
Lindas fotos! Lugares lindos!
Beijos!
Beautiful clear skies!!! I do hope you will participate in the Gratitude Quilt this year it is simple to do and will make your heart happy when you see the love unfurl on Nov 27th. Instructions and an explanation about the quilt if you don’t know what it is can be found at the top of my blog, if I’ve already asked you I apologize for being annoying 🙂
