It has been a good day 🙂
I got confirmation of my travels to China – one of those great duos, where I get to combine my love for travel with my love for marine conservation. I am going to Qingdao, China to present my marine PhD research while at the same time be able to fulfil one of my bucket list activities -see the Great Wall of China! I am scrambling through other travel blogs I follow to find tips on how to make best of my 9 days there!
At the same time, orange has been on my mind lately. Not surprising as it’s Autumn, I am seeing orange everywhere, I am thankful after all that has happened last week, I am happy! Â But I REALLY felt the need to express the orange in me today, don’t ask me why?
And then I thought of Garfield and it hit it why…today is October 7th…it’s a very life altering day for me. Too personal to write about and it seems the only way I want to express it is in Orange! So here goes 🙂
My one whirlwind day in Rome and the strange man in Orange!
My golden boy Shahaar, who has made travelling with children seem like a breeze, since his first travels at 8 weeks!
Arrow Farm by our house, fields of pumpkins as far as the eye could see!
Our personal favourite destination in Bangladesh, Sunderbans National Park, seeing the sunset as we lounged on the river cruise boat
One of the many stunning sunsets we saw in England, this one at Peak District National Park lucky to have this amazing place right by our home!
Orange trees reflected in water at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, half way between Leeds and Sheffield, perfect for a great family day out! Art, nature, outdoors, sculptures, animals, all in one place 🙂
As I grow older (and wiser perhaps?!) I take life for granted less and less. It is precious, losing loved ones is painful, am just grateful for all the good that has been given my way. I want to enjoy life to the fullest. I am happy today! I am remembering the good things in my life in orange. Nothing Else Matters.
