From our road trip in Europe this past summer, driving through the famous Grossglockner Alpine Road, going from Austria to Slovenia. It was an amazing journey – waterfalls, glaciers, marmots and filled with outdoor natural beauty! Linking this photograph to Sunday Stills, the next challenge: The Long and Winding Road as it fits so perfectly 🙂

For the theme Descent, I had several in mind from my recent hike on the Great Wall of China but when I started looking at the pictures, they were all from the bottom perspective, looking at the steep ascent! Some of the descents were really steep, not sure why I didn’t capture those images! Then I figured I was probably more worried about watching my step rather than clicking away 🙂 One of the few from above, a truly memorable experience 🙂

Our 3 week travels to West Coast and East coast of USA was truly memorable. 4 states, 7 cities, 79 people, we were so happy to connect with loved ones in America!

Croatia is definitely our new favourite country in Europe. We loved our time in Pula and Rovinj in Istria. It was the highlight of our 3 week road trip travelling through France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy this past summer 🙂

That is a beautiful alpine road. Yes, I remember getting quite a workout walking up and down the steps of the Great Wall of China.
